"A Better Ben" is an orchestral piece on the Season 6 soundtrack. It is Ben's flash sideways theme.
Main appearance[]
At the Rousseaus' for dinner, Ben learns from Danielle that Alex sees him as a father. The sight of Alex then makes him tear up. He blames the crying on their dinner's onions, which seems to amuse Danielle.
On the Island, Ben leads the Man in Black to his secret room.

Influences[]
The haunting piano notes are fittingly reminiscent of Ben's original theme. In addition to its own theme, the piece contains Widmore's suspense motif.
Variations[]
The theme appears in "Closure" and "Karma Has No Price".
Title significance[]
The title of the piece references that Ben is now a better person in the flash sideways than he was on the Island.
