Jose and Manuel

Jose and Manuel are Looney Tunes characters created by Friz Freleng, debuting in the short "Two Crows from Tacos".

Description[]

Jose and Manuel are two crows who wear sombreros and have Mexican origins. They appeared in "Mexicali Shmoes" as cats, and in "Cannery Woe" as mice. Another crow character would also appear in "Chili Corn Corny", who greatly resembles Manuel but with a different voice, provided by Gonzalez Gonzalez.

Both crows are lazy and not very intelligent, although Jose seems to be marginally smarter than Manuel. They are best known for often drunkenly singing while strumming a guitar.
