Metropolis is a DC Comics location featured in LEGO Dimensions. It appears in the DC Comics World and the level, Painting the Town Black.
Background[]
Metropolis, similar to Gotham City, is attributed to being one of the most iconic DC Comics locations. It is the location where many heroes reside, specifically Superman. Metropolis is also known for its modern architecture and layout that contrasts Gotham City, the other major DC location, which has a more older style. Metropolis is also home to Lex Luthor who is a wealthy businessman who owns LexCorp and is the arch-rival of Superman.
Dimensions Crisis[]
It is later revealed in the level Painting the Town Black that Lord Vortech sent Sauron and Two-Face to attack this city. Two-Face acquires a Oliphant and rides it into Metropolis while Sauron and hundreds of orcs terrorize the streets. The Eye of Sauron is also in the city, towering above the rest of the cityscape as a sign of terror for Sauron.
