Librum laudatissimum The Gentleman's Companion anno 1939 in duo volumina divisum divulgari iussit, primo de gastronomia exotica, altero de gallicaudis aliisque potionibus; sed in ambobus de convivis interdum celebribus, per exempla Ernesto Hemingway, Gulielmo Faulkner.
