Mantaro Kinniku is left floating in the waters, after a bad blow from Master Carpenter.[1] Great III is still slow to go to his defence, causing Genta to yell at him from the crowds, but Great III reveals he is building an underwater breathing apparatus with the leftover bits of plastic from the Plastic Modelman. He explains he studied scuba diving equipment and is comfortable his device will work. Master Carpenter, meanwhile, picks Mantaro up by his hair and launches him into the air, which temporarily triggers a flashback in Great III.
Great III dives into the waters with his breathing apparatus, and swims towards the propellers of the Plastic Modelman's U-boat. He proceeds to kick a hole in the hull, which fully exposes the springs of the propellers, and pulls at the wires to force the U-boat to move contrary to as the Plastic Modelman desires. Master Carpenter holds Mantaro mid-air, where he waits for a place to land his technique and deliver a final blow, but - as Great III snaps the springs - the U-Boat is unable to move at all. Mantaro reverses the hold, and then slams Master Carpenter down onto the U-Boat instead.[1]
