Summary[]
The final preparations for the Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament are finished, and Chaos Avenir assumes the identity of Kinnikuman Great III.
Story[]
Mantaro Kinniku is thrilled to see the Kinnikuman Great mask.[1] He expresses a desire for Chaos Avenir to wear it as part of his disguise, so that he will appear to be a chojin and can enter the tournament, but Chaos reveals it is not just a cosplay mask, but the real mask of Kinnikuman Great. He was once at the Universal Chojin Tag Tournament, when Kinnikuman Great's mask was ripped off by Neptuneman and tossed to the crowd, and he personally fought his once-friend to obtain possession of the mask: Kawazaki. The mask is his most treasured possession, but it sparks flashbacks to the massacre of a village and the murder of his parents.
Sister rushes in to administer Chaos his inhaler, to help him breathe again, and reveals he has been prone to debilitating flashbacks ever since he arrived mysteriously in their orphanage. At the promise of Rinko in cosplay, and being able to meet the Legends, Chaos agrees to join Mantaro as part of his tag-team. Meanwhile, Ilioukhine and Barrierfreeman train together, Jade trains with Scarface, and Terry the Kid trains with Robin Mask. Later, on the 5th of May 1983, people gather at a baseball stadium to attend the preliminary event for the Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament. The participating tag-teams are announced, starting with The Machineguns.[1]
