Story[]
The chapter opens with two commentators at the national stadium. [1] The crowd grows impatient waiting for the preliminaries, and Meat acts as the mascot for the competition, while the previous champion - Robin Mask - leads a parade of this year's contestants. In contrast to Terryman, who is so popular that Natsuko Shono must fight away his fans, Kinnikuman has objects thrown at him and is vastly unpopular. After a brawl breaks out, when Meat Alexandria accidentally drops the Olympic torch, Mayumi Kinniku announces the first preliminary event will be a rock-paper-scissor contest.
The participants are paired up for the luck-based contest, and Kinnikuman is matched with Kani Base. Kinnikuman wins by playing 'rock', as Kani Base has claws that make him unable to play anything else. This leads Kinnikuman to win the first preliminary, while Kinkotsuman looks on and promises to wreak havoc. [1]
