A Quiet Battlefield is the 2nd episode of the second season and the 40th episode of the anime Kingdom.
Synopsis[]
The favorite servant of the king of Zhao, Shun Pei Kun, has been kidnapped. It is Ri Boku himself who has to recover this young man. A frontal confrontation between Ryo Fui and the prime minister of Zhao takes place. After many formalities, the two men enter into negotiations. Ri Boku proposes an alliance between Qin and Zhao, so that the two states can go to war against their respective opponents without risk of intervention. Ryo Fui asks for a fortified city in addition to this alliance, that of Kankou, which has a strategic location.
