Synopsis[]
Asakusa Arc[]
During Tanjiro's second mission as a Demon Slayer, he was tasked with investigating a demonic presence in Asakusa. Overwhelmed and disoriented by his inexperience in modern cities, he quickly fled the busy, bustling center and stopped at an udon shop owned by Toyo. As he ordered an udon bowl and prepared to eat, he detected the scent that was present in his home that day when he'd found his family massacred. He stood up in shock, inadvertently causing his food to drop to the ground, and pursued the scent.
When Tanjiro returned, Tojo angrily lectured him for dropping his udon without even eating it and the boy decided to get another one as compensation. When Toyo demanded that Nezuko eat his udon too and tried to get her to remove the bamboo muzzle in her mouth, Tanjiro decided to order a second bowl in her place. Toyo then watched with surprise as Tanjiro proceeded to gobble down both bowls of udon in almost no time at all, before thanking him for the meal. As the Kamado siblings departed his shop, Toyo happily waved them goodbye and thanked them for doing business with him.
Abilities[]
As an ordinary human, he doesn't posses any additional powers or abilities.
Trivia[]
- Toyo can also make soba as well as udon. He says he will never teach anyone how to make the stock.[5]
