This article is about a set of power-up devices in Kamen Rider Wizard. |
The Wizard Rings (ウィザードリング, Wizādo Ringu) are the jewelery-like power source of Kamen Riders Wizard and Beast, as well as Kamen Rider Wiseman, Kamen Rider Sorcerer, and Kamen Rider Mage. They are rings infused with magical stones, which possess powers that vary depending on the kind of stone.
All Magicians possesses two kinds of Wizard Rings: the left-handed Transformation Rings (変身リング, Henshin Ringu) for transformation (or changing forms in Wizard's case) and the right-handed Magic Rings (魔法リング, Mahō Ringu) for performing spells.
Wizard's Wizard Rings can be stored inside a chest known simply as the Wizard Ring Box, crafted from scratch by the bashful Violet Golem PlaMonster.

Legend Rider Wizard Rings[]
Much like the Legend Rider Switches of Kamen Rider Fourze and the Rider Medals of Kamen Rider OOO (not to mention Sound Capsule Gaia Memories which however are non-canon), the Legend Rider Rings (レジェンドライダーリング, Rejendo Raidā Ringu) are based off of the previous Riders and like the Rider Switches, could be accessible in Kamen Rider Battle: Ganbaride. Unlike Kamen Rider Diend (for the most part), the Kamen Riders that Wizard summon are actual Riders rather than holographic manifestations, as the rings summon a Rider either in their human form or Rider forms based on the rings.
Four of them (Double, Accel, OOO, & Birth) were used in Movie War Ultimatum, created by the Please Ring to help protect Koyomi. As shown in this movie, Riders summoned by these Rings can access their full arsenal, include lost weapons or forms. The rings of Wizard's 13 Heisei Rider predecessors (Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, Decade, Double, OOO, & Fourze) are used in the first part of Wizard's epilogue two-parter, The Kamen Rider Rings. The former is activated by scanning the DX Change, Explosion, or Final Strike Wizard Rings (and also the Mage (Amber, Blue, and Green ver.) and Sorcerer Change ring from the "Last Hope Ring Set" and "Wizard Ring Finale Set", respectively) on the DX Wizardriver or WizarSwordGun. The latter can be triggered via the Eclipse ring from the "Last Hope Ring Set".
Notes[]
- With their appearance as two of the 4 Neo-Heisei Rider Wizard Rings used in Movie War Ultimatum and the 13 Heisei Rider Wizard Rings used in The Kamen Rider Rings, the Double and OOO Rings are the only two Legend Rider Wizard Rings to appear on both occasions.
- The ring's appearance is different as in Movie War Ultimatum. The ring is mainly silver with colored eyes, like in the candy toy and Gashapon Rings shown above, and in the Wizard special, the rings are shown to be fully colored like in the Premium Bandai exclusive Legend Rider Wizard Ring Selection and Wizard Ring Finale Set.
- Also when the Riders are being summoned, in Movie War Ultimatum, the Wizardriver didn't announce their names and in Wizard's special, it does and also playing their transformation sounds. The way that they are summoned is different as in Movie War Ultimatum, the Magical Portal appears and in Wizard's special, it shows the Riders' symbol instead.
- On one occasion, Kamen Rider Wizard accidentally discovered he can use the Beast Rings with the Wizardriver when Beast accidentally put his hand on said driver. Wizard's rings, however, are incompatible with the Beast Driver.
- In the toyline, the DX Wizardriver and White Wizardriver use an RFID system to scan the Wizard Rings, while the DX Beast Driver uses a six-pin combination system with which only the Beast Rings are compatible. Because all of the the DX Beast Rings contain RFID chips as well, they can be used with the Wizardriver just like in the show.
- When the Wizardriver and White Wizardriver scan the Chimarise Ring, both Drivers announce "Phantom, Please" and "Phantom, Now" respectively.
- In 2020, Premium Bandai released two limited-edition Wizard Rings intended to function as fashion accessories: the Flame Style ring and the Hope ring.
- Both rings are made of 925 Sterling Silver and set with a "Magic Stone". Neither ring contains an RFID chip, and the heads/stones are much smaller than those of the version seen in the show. The metal mask across the front of the Flame ring is also made of Sterling Silver and, like its counterparts in the show and toyline, is mounted on a functioning hinge.
- The Flame Ring's stone is made of translucent red polymer resin.
- The Hope Ring's stone is a pink cubic zircon which has been cut to a circular shape.
