Yoshito Hirose (広瀬 義人, Hirose Yoshito) was a researcher of BOARD who was initially responsible for the unleashing of the Undead. He then transferred himself into the body of Trial B (トライアルB, Toraiaru Bi) in order to protect his daughter, but his memories were altered by Hiroshi Tennoji for his own malicious goals of monitoring the current Battle Fight and removing any potential threats.
History[]
Hirose before transferring himself
Yoshito Hirose had married his wife Sayuri Hirose and had a daughter, Shiori Hirose. Some time during her high school years, Yoshito took the family out on a trip to a cherry blossom field.
At some point in his life, Hirose joined BOARD as a researcher, but his wife was struck with an incurable disease and passed away. Frustrated that he could not save his wife, he decided to study the secrets of immortality and unleashed the Undead in a fit of madness. During this time, he created the Trial Series of Undead-human hybrids and managed to build at at least one model, Trial B, where he would copy his memories into it.
Trial B[]
After transferring himself into Trial B in order to protect his daughter, he was caught by Hiroshi Tennoji, who modified his programming as well as altered his memories, so that there was a gap between Hirose's death and the body transfer.
As such, Trial B continued to work without any memories of ever transferring himself into a Trial body, while considering himself as Yoshito Hirose, not knowing the real one was already dead. With support from Tennoji, Trial B created more of the Trial Series and had them attack Kazuma Kenzaki, who would be forced to use King Form to defeat them that would eventually accelerate his mutation into a Joker Undead. Though he brought Sakuya Tachibana into it, the latter would discover his usual powers, and Trial B would learn from Tennoji that the real Yoshito was long dead. Regardless, he convinced himself that he still embodied Yoshito's will and continued his duties as usual. After revealing his identity to his daughter, he kidnaped Mutsuki Kamijo to lure Kazuma and Sakuya out, where they would discover his identity as well. Shiori, having become angry that her father was in fact dead, asked the two to destroy him, though he escaped.
After helping Tennoji create Trial G using Leangle's data, Trial B agrees to meet Shiori at their old vacation place, but Shiori isn't convinced that it was her father, and both Kazuma and Sakuya attack him. In the process, Trial G appears and fights Blade and Garren. However, one of his attacks became aimed at Shiori, in which B then remembered his original programming. He was a Trial created by Yoshito Hirose to protect Shiori. At that moment, he jumped in to receive the attack, which proved fatal. As he is laid to rest, he smiled at his daughter, finally happy that he could pass on.

Trial B (トライアルB, Toraiaru Bi) is a modified experimental body created using the cells of the Undead. It fights with bare hands and shoots 1000°C blue lightning strikes from its fingertips.

from Dai Sentai Goggle-V and Ryu Hoshikawa in Kagaku Sentai Dynaman.

- Trial B's head design resembles the Great Leader of Shocker's Cyclops unhooded from the original Kamen Rider series.
- In Yasushi Nirasawa's concept art, Trial B is called Trial G, sharing the name with Trial G, who seems to have originally been Trial D. Said concept art even included the comment "Does G stands for General?" (G=GENERALでしょうか？, G wa GENERAL deshou ka?))[1].
- It was also labeled as Undeadloid-4.
- Trial B's suit is modified from Locust Undead's suit.
