Apollogeist (アポロガイスト, Aporo Gaisuto)[1][2][3], alternatively spelt Apollo Geist,[4][5] is the Chief of Security of G.O.D.. After his first demise, he would be recontructed into Apollogeist·Reborn (再生アポロガイスト, Saisei Aporo Gaisuto)[6].
History[]
Apollogeist is an cyborg created by G.O.D., assigned by the G.O.D. General Commander to be the Cheif of Security, executing any member of the organization who were traitors or were no longer of use. His usual appearance is that of a man wearing a white tuxedo with black gloves, and is usually seen in this form the most. It is only in battle does he transform into his true form, an armored cyborg. He views Keisuke Jin as a strong opponent and formidable rival, even getting angry at Mach Achilles for refusing to train like Jin and instead, choosing to underestimate him. He was ultimatley defeated by Kamen Rider X's X Finishing Kick, before attempting to take him out by shaking his explosive hand. Despite this attempt at kiling him, he still earned Keisuke's respect.
Revival[]
The husk of Apollogeist was retreived and reconstructed at the Apollon Palace by G.O.D scientists, Dr. Kawakami and Dr. Daigo Miyamoto, where he was brought back to life stronger than he was before his death. Apollogeist would realize that his hands were becoming weaker, as he began missing more targets during training and struggles to lift up a cup of coffee. He would visit Dr. Miyamoto and demand an explaination for his weaken state, only to be told by Kawakami that his life was limited and didn't have much time left to live. Because Kawakami had previously killed by Apollogeist, Miyamoto is unable to perform a second surgery alone. Miyamoto explained that a potential way to live longer was to install Kamen Rider X's Perfecter into his system. Apollogeist thanked Kawakami for his advice and proceeded to shoot and kill him. Apollogeist fought Kamen Rider X one more time with the goal of obtaining his Perfecter, but was unable to accurately perform his attacks due to his slowly weakening body. As a final resort, he assumed the form of a giant fireball but was ultimately destroyed by X's X Kick.

Due to a change in history caused by Ankh leaving an O Medal behind in the year 1971, Shocker achieved its goal of world dominion with the Shocker Greeed and new members from the various groups joined an alliance under Shocker's control. Apollogeist, Kingdark and the Government of Darkness were part of Shocker's alliance. He was never killed by X, not needing the Perfecter to sustain himself even years into the future. When the timeline was partially restored and the Riders returned, he tried to face X, only to be defeated. He was only destroyed, however, when the Great Leader became the Great Rock Leader and spread destruction around the world. [OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders] This Apollogeist used a modified version of the design of Decade's version, having the Perfecter removed, and also the actor of that same version voiced him, however, his official bio[7] makes it clear that he's the original character, rather than Decade's version.

A G.O.D. cyborg, Apollogeist (アポロガイスト, Aporo Gaisuto) invokes "Apollo Change" (アポロチェンジ, Aporo Chenji) to assume his true form, which is armed with the Geist Cutter (ガイストカッター, Gaisuto Kattā) shield and the Apollo Shot (アポロショット, Aporo Shotto) shotgun. He has his own motorcycle with his Apollogeist logo. His arm can be detached and used as a bomb.

Following a reconstructive surgery performed on his husk, the Apollogeist·Reborn (再生アポロガイスト, Saisei Aporo Gaisuto) is armed with the Apollo Magnum (アポロマグナム, Aporo Magunamu) bayonet on his right hand as well as the Geist Double Cutter (ガイストダブルカッター, Gaisuto Daburu Kattā), consisting of the Geist Cutter shield which causes explosions when throw to the ground and a smaller Geist Cutter shield on his left shoulder. He is distinguished form his original form in that he has a silver arrow on his helmet, and has the fire motif in his cloak. He also has the ability to turn himself into a huge fireball.

- Apollogeist's name is derived from the Greek god Apollo.

- Apollogeist was the first major antagonist to simultaneously appear in his human and armored forms, as the four commanders of Shocker/Gel Shocker in the original series and the four commanders of Destron in Kamen Rider V3 only revealed their true forms in their endgame appearances.
- In the wake of Apollogeist's defeat, it was originally planned to introduce a new G.O.D. executive named Black Mars (ブラックマルス, Burakku Marusu). However, the unforseen popularity of Apollogeist changed the course of the series and this character was scrapped.
