Cikagov
[stika lo krasi]Well, here in Chicago, we pronounce it [ʃɪˈkɔgo], so I think {cikagov} is a reasonable rendering.—sen (ko tavla) 16:11, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Country template
[stika lo krasi]Hello! I am the user known as Homo logos in the spanish wikipedia, I have been having some trouble with my Username here currently Tadre'as so I think I'll take Homo logos here as well.
But what I wanted to talk to you about is that I have been working to make a Country Template similar to the one used in most wikipedias to summarize important information of countries, the template I have taken as a model is es:Plantilla:Ficha de país from the spanish wikipedia. After creating the template: Template:gugde cartu I have had trouble to make it work: The borders won't display correctly and it won't allow text to be shown to it's sides.
So I contacted en:User:Teratornis in the english wikipedia, and he told me to contact the administrators of the lojban wikipedia for the following reasons:
- Your description of the problem makes it sound like the template is trying to use a CSS style class which is present on the Spanish Wikipedia but not on the Lojban Wikipedia (possibly: class="infobox geography"). On the English Wikipedia, the style classes are in the MediaWiki:Common.css file, which has several entries beginning with:
/* Styles for geography infoboxes, e.g. countries, country subdivisions, cities, etc. */ .infobox.geography { text-align: left; border-collapse: collapse; line-height: 1.2em; font-size: 90%; }
- I'm guessing you will need to add the same style classes to whatever the MediaWiki:Common.css file is on the Lojban Wikipedia. I see only a deleted page entry for jbo:MediaWiki:Common.css. If the filename is supposed to be the same in Lojban, that would be a problem right there.
I don't quite understand what style classes are, but I hope you'll be able to solve this along with Telatornis so we can have this templates in the lojban wikipedia. --Tadre'as 19:17, 1 la pamast. 2009 (UTC)
Your admin status
[stika lo krasi]Hello. I'm a steward. A new policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus recently. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing administrators' activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.
You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on jbowiki, where you are an administrator. Since jbowiki does not have its own administrators' rights review process, the global one applies.
If you want to keep your rights, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights, and demonstrate a continued requirement to maintain these rights.
We stewards will evaluate the responses. If there is no response at all after approximately one month, we will proceed to remove your administrative rights. In cases of doubt, we will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review. If you have any questions, please contact us on m:Stewards' noticeboard.
