Chapter 472

Omiya Gets Real (大宮覚醒, Ōmiya Kakusei, "Omiya Wakes Up") is the four hundred and seventy-second chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

The narrator explains that Omiya tends to start his races slowly, taking his time to get fully focused before making his move. As the cars past the halfway point, Omiya is almost ready to go.

At the start line, Ryosuke explains that knowing when to brake is one of the most important parts of racing downhill, and that Takumi is exceptional at it. With Omiya in front, Takumi will be able to see just how good he is from how he brakes, provided Omiya is going all out.

As the two cars approach a corner after a long straight, Omiya suddenly picks up speed, braking at the last second.
