Chapter 300

The Smart Bomb Misfires!! (必殺技不発, Hissatsu Waza Fuhatsu, "The Special Move Misfires") is the three hundredth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Sakamoto tries to keep calm, as he knows Takumi won't be able to pass him. Takumi follows close behind the Cappuccino. Almost entirely unable to see because of the spray from the road, Takumi drives off of his memory of the course, as he had while using his blind attack against Tomoyuki Tachi.

The Northern Saitama Alliance hear from one of their lookouts about how close the two cars are to each other. They start to think about the strategy for the second run, where Sakamoto will be following. Nobuhiko is annoyed by how the rain has turned the race in Project D's favor, as they would likely have already won without it.

Sakamoto gets annoyed with how Takumi is following him, as it is damaging his pride.
