K.T. Takes the Bait (罠に落ちる啓介, Wana ni Ochiru Keisuke, "Keisuke falls into the trap") is the two hundred and thirty-first chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Keisuke and Sakai are bumper to bumper up the hill. Keisuke follows the Integra through a slow left turn, stepping on the accelerator to exit. Sakai taps on his brakes, causing his brake lights to flash and making Keisuke take his foot off of the acceleration. Keisuke quickly realises his error and steps on the accelerator, but his turbocharger has already unspooled and lags as it reengages the boost. Sakai takes advantage of this and increases the distance between them. Sakai gloats that tactics to break the opponents rhythm, such as brake checking, are commonplace within the school. Keisuke refuses to give up, and follows the Integra into a corner at speed.
The old boys talk about their experiences driving behind Sakai, as he has many tactics to throw people off their groove, such as driving into turns too fast, which can cause them to spin out.
