Chapter 209

The Project D Lasso (プロジェクトD包囲網, Purojekuto D Hōi Mō, "Project D Under Siege") is the two hundred and ninth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Takumi tells Iketani that between work and Project D he doesn't have time to think about dating. Iketani jokingly compares him to Kenji, but is shocked when Kenji is stood behind him. Yuichi asks how the Eight-Six is doing, and Takumi tells him about Matsumoto's work. Kenji congratulates Takumi on his wins, and tells him that he's been following Project D's site.

Fumihiro and Kenta return to the Takahashi mansion after recording an upcoming course. Ryosuke tells them to make copies, and get one to Takumi as soon as they can.

In Tochigi, Daiki Ninomiya calls Tomoyuki Tachi and tells him about Project D's challenge. Tomoyuki says that he isn't available to race for them, as he's too busy racing professionally. He offers to put in a good word for Daiki, letting him use a demo car for the race. Daiki tells him that he can't wait to beat Project D, and Tomoyuki says that if he does end up losing, he'll come to back him up. Daiki tells him not to hold out hope.
