White Christmas (Final Episode) (ホワイトクリスマス (後編), Howaito Kurisumasu (Kōhen), "White Christmas (Continued)") is the one hundred and seventy-eighth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Bunta offers Natsuki some tea, and is surprised when she pulls out a small Christmas tree. Natsuki asks him if they can talk until Takumi gets back, and tells him that Takumi doesn't know she's there, which surprises Bunta. He realises that she is the girl who had been calling over the summer, and he says he wondered why she stopped. Natsuki says that she thinks Takumi might hate her, and she didn't want to graduate with things as they are. Bunta doubts that Takumi hates her, but Natsuki is unsure. She remembers that she had bought champagne, and offers Bunta some.
Some time later, Takumi returns home, and notices an unfamiliar pair of boots. As he enters the living room he is surprised by Natsuki and Bunta, both letting off party poppers at the same time. Natsuki offers Takumi champagne, and tells him that she wanted to give him a nice Christmas, as he said he doesn't celebrate it. Natsuki brings out a cake and lights its candles. She turns out the light, but while she finds it magical, Takumi and Bunta both compare it to when they couldn't afford to keep the power on. They thank Natsuki for the cake, and Takumi realises that its the first time he's had champagne.
Some time later, Takumi realises that it's almost midnight.
