Chapter 154

A Plan for Victory (勝利へのシナリオ, Shōri he no Shinario, "Scenario for Victory") is the one hundred and fifty-fourth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Kyoichi changes his plan, instead of trying to overtake whenever he feels like it, he's going to overtake only where it will assure him victory. Despite all of the pressure Kyoichi is putting on him, Takumi is able to keep his cool. Takumi is able to take each corner perfectly, knowing that if he messes up Kyoichi will go on the attack and overtake him. Takumi uses the full width of the road in order to maximise his speed, while Kyoichi keeps to the ideal angles, struggling to find an opening. The two cars near the end of the low speed corners, and Kyoichi prepares to make his move in the high speed section that follows. Takumi sees the first bridge, and realises how near they are to the finish.
