To Make a Long Story Short, I think Inconsistently Admirable is more fitting for Margo from Minions.
What's The Work?[]
Despicable Me is an American media franchise created by Sergio Pablos, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. It centers on a former supervillain turned secret agent named Gru, his adoptive daughters, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, and his yellow-colored Minions. The franchise is produced by Illumination and distributed by its parent company 20th Century Studios.
Who is Margo?[]
Margo Gru is one of the three deuteragonists (alongside Edith and Agnes) of the Despicable Me franchise.
She is a 12-year-old girl and the oldest of the three "orphan" sisters who is the brainy and sarcastic one of the trio. Like her younger sisters, Margo has been adopted by Gru. She is partly the reason why Vector is trapped on the moon.
She is voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, who also played Summer Hathaway in School of Rock, Carly Shay in ICarly, and Megan Parker in Drake & Josh.
What Has She Done?[]
- As an orphan of Mrs. Hattie's, she helps deliver cookies to neighbors.
- She scolds Edith for splashing water onto her foot, skirt and Agnes.
- She tries to encourage her sisters that they'll be okay in their new home.
- She helps Agnes get a new unicorn.
- She tries to warn Vector that the moon is regrowing and would kill them all though he does not listen.
- She throws Edith and Agnes onto Gru's ship so that they will live at the cost of her life (and to an extent, Gru's life too) being severely endangered.
- After Gru saves her life, she was thankful that she was saved and gained the courage to call him her dad.
- She dances again for Gru and encourages him to dance along with them.
- She comforts the kids when they got scared of Gru's dog.
- She encourages Gru to fall in love with Lucy.
- Her hatred over boys is understandable and played for sympathy as Antonio unknowingly left her for another girl and Niko was a creep that won't hesitate in trying to receive a kiss from her.
- Despite her saying that teenagers are horrible despite being one is somewhat hypocritical, it is also played for sympathy as she got blasted by a glitter bomb in her temporary locker installed by an unknown prankster.
- She encourages Lucy to be a disciplinary mother and hugs her when she successfully scares Niko's mother off.
- She along with her sister fight against Principal Ãœbelschlecht when she was attacking Gru and Lucy.
- She gradually matures out of her mischievous behavior as the story progresses.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- In the second film, She was manipulated and used by Antonio Perez, who was actually the son of El Macho, a villain who wants to destroy the world using an army of Purple Minions.
Admirable Standards[]
- Edith - More Mishevious than Margo.
- Agnes - She's More Nicer than Margo.
- Gru - Probably The Same.
- Lucy - She's more advancive.
Final Verdict[]
I'm leaning towards a yes, but let's see what the chat decides.
