Peter Pan is the titular main protagonist of Disney's 14th full-length animated feature of 1953, Peter Pan, and the deuteragonist of its 2002 sequel, Return to Never Land. He is the defender of Neverland who never wanted to grow up.

In the original animated film, he was modeled and voiced by the late Bobby Driscoll, in his last Disney role. In modern media, he is voiced by Blayne Weaver.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

In General[]

  • He is shown to be protective of Neverland from Captain Hook and his Crew.
  • He is a good leader over the Lost Boys.
  • Not counting his original counterpart, he never killed any pirates during any battles with them.

Peter Pan[]

  • He gives Wendy, John and Michael pixie dust, so they can fly from London to Neverland.
  • He got very cross at the Lost Boys for trying to kill Wendy. He also punished Tinker Bell for inciting them to do it.
  • At Mermaid Lagoon, Peter prevented Wendy from throwing a rock at one of the mermaids.
  • He saved Tiger Lily by having Tick Tock Crocodile chase after Captain Hook. This allows the Natives to release John, Michael, and the Lost Boys as a result of Peter’s heroism.
  • He made Wendy to be the so-called mother of the Lost Boys.
  • After being saved by Tinker Bell from Captain Hook's bomb, Peter tried to save her, so they can save the Darling children and the Lost Boys by defeating Hook and his crew.
  • As Wendy was about to walk the plank at Hook's Jolly Roger, Peter saved her from falling to the bottom of the ocean.
  • He, along with the Darling children and the Lost Boys, defeated and fend away Hook and his crew from the Jolly Roger.
  • He took control of the Jolly Roger and escorts Wendy, John, and Michael back home to London.

Return To Neverland[]

  • He saves Wendy's daughter, Jane, from falling to the ocean, especially from the Octopus that Tinker Bell used her magic to make him be the predator to Hook and his crew.
  • He has Jane become the so-called caretaker over the Lost Boys.
  • After being freed by Jane and when Hook tries to kill her, Peter saves her by having Hook fall into the ocean, where the Octopus was sleeping.
  • He escorted Jane back to her mother, Wendy, in London.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is shown to be somewhat sadistic and mischievous at times, especially during his fights with Captain Hook.
  • He is responsible for cutting off Hook's left hand and feeding it to the crocodile years prior to the events of the original film that caused him to be hunted by the crocodile many times, resulting in Hook suffering from PTSD. While Captain Hook was already evil before that happened, this was still too much, even for Peter, as this was done as a childish prank and not out of self-defense, which is way considerably far too corrupting to be NPG as he showed no remorse for it.
  • He shows too much sadistic delight when seeing Captain Hook getting attacked and chased by the crocodile or an octopus.
  • He laughs when the Mermaids tried to drown Wendy.
    • Even if he didn't mean for her to be harmed, it is still disrespectful to do that in front of Wendy.
  • At first, he banished Tinker Bell forever; but when Wendy insisted it can't be forever, he decided for a week. While it can be justified as she did try to have Wendy killed by the Lost Boys, this consequentially causes Tinker Bell to temporarily team up with Captain Hook until she learns the errors of her way when Wendy and the boys got captured by Hook and his crew.
    • This is also hypocritical on Peter's part because later in the film, he laughs as the mermaids attempt to drown Wendy. Even it was before the mermaids reveal it, he didn't reprimand them.
    • Not only that but also, he laughs when Tinker Bell tries to throw Jane from since the sky. Moreover, he didn't punish Tinker Bell for that.

Trivia[]

  • Due to him being the only Inconsistently Admirable character to come from a Disney film that was released in the 1950's, he is remembered for being the first Inconsistently Admirable character featured in a Disney animated film.
