His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Aditymirable?[]
- Even before he became an assassin, Ezio still had a sense of honor and nobility, especially when he was a reckless womanizer.
- He stopped Vieri de'Pazzi from harassing Cristina Vespucci at her doorstep.
- He and his friends and brother would also stand up to the Pazzi thugs that roamed streets of Florence due to their corruption.
- He beat up Duccio for being unfaithful to his sister Claudia.
- He took revenge on the Pazzi family for the murder of his family, and also discovered that other people outside Florence were involved in the conspiracy. And despite being enemies, he gave Jacopo de'Pazzi a merciful death in order to put him out of his misery of being stabbed by Rodrigo Borgia.
- Despite threatening to kill Manfredo if he ever gambled again, it was only because someone needed to keep Cristina save since Ezio couldn't marry her.
- During a decade-long search, he visited San Gimignano and Forli, and eventually arrived in Venice. During his time tracking down the Templars, Auditore gained several allies, including Niccolo Machiavelli, Caterina Sforza and Leonardo da Vinci. These people guided him on the path of redemption and helped him overcome his thirst for revenge.
- He traveled to Spain to free fellow assassins imprisoned by the Spanish Inquisition. During the investigation, he discovered that the Templars planned to sail west to discover the New World. Auditore saved Christopher Columbus and got into a confrontation with the master of the Templar Order, Tomas de Torquemada.
- He would return to Florence and liberate the city from the religious fanatic known as Girolamo Savonarola.
- Despite the fact that Savonarola was responsible for the deaths of numerous people in his tyranny upon Florence, including Cristina Vespucci's, Ezio still gave him a merciful and painless death. Soon afterwards, he would encourage the people of Florence to not follow him, or any books, but to choose their own paths.
- He found out that the Vault that Rodrigo was looking for was in Rome. This discovery prompted the assassin to infiltrate the Vatican to kill the Grand Master of the Templars, who became Pope Alexander VI and took possession of the Staff of Eden. Auditore fought Rodrigo using the Apple of Eden and defeated him in a fist fight. At that moment, he renounced revenge and spared Rodrigo's life.
- After his return from Rome, Monteriggioni was besieged by the papal army led by Cesare Borgia, son of Rodrigo and co-leader of the Templar Order. During the siege, the assassin lost the "Apple of Eden", his house of Monteriggioni and Uncle Mario, whom Cesare killed. Having escaped from the city with his mother and sister, the wounded Auditore went to Rome to destroy the house of Borgia once and for all.
- He and Machiavelli began to implement their plan to liberate Rome and abdicate the Borgias from power, as well as to return the "Apple".
- Over the next three and a half years, he and his allies defeated the Borgias and restored Rome to its former greatness. Ezio restored the Italian Assassins and replaced Machiavelli as mentor, leader of the Brotherhood.
- He killed the banker of the House of Borgia, Juan, and their French ally, Baron de Valois, and weakened the influence of Lucrezia Borgia, thereby sowing chaos in the ranks of the Templars.
- After recovering the Apple, he used its power to destroy the remnants of Cesare's army. By the end of the year, the Borgias had finally lost power over Rome, and Cesare was arrested by the new Pope Julius II.
- He would accept the fact that Leonardo Da Vinci was homosexual, and he approved of his relationship with Salai instead of treating him like an outcast like everyone else.
- He went to Spain and caught up with Cesare at the siege of the castle of Viana, where he defeated him in battle. Thus avenging his uncle Mario.
- Arriving in Constantinople, he began searching for seals, while simultaneously helping the local Assassins Guild, led by Yusuf Tazim, weaken the control of the Byzantine Templars. Over time, he managed to rid the city of the Templars and put Prince Suleiman on the throne.
- Despite the fact that Ezio indirectly killed numerous innocent people when he would blow up the underground city that held a Templar lair, Ezio would show immense remorse for the action, and he felt so bad for it that it would serve as one of the reasons as to why he would leave the Assassin brotherhood.
- Returning to Constantinople, he discovered that Ahmet had killed Yusuf and kidnapped Sofia; at the same time, Auditore joined forces with the Ottoman assassins in a confrontation with Ahmet. After giving up the seals to save Sofia, Ezio rushed in pursuit of Ahmet and returned the seals back. Sultan Selim I then killed Akhmet and thanked Auditore for saving his son and the country, but at the same time ordered him to leave the Ottoman Empire.
- After leaving the Assassin Brotherhood, he settled in a Tuscan villa near Monteriggioni with Sofia, who bore him two children — daughter Flavia and son Marcello. Later, a mysterious Chinese woman appeared on his doorstep and asked the Auditor for help. The uninvited guest turned out to be Shao Jun, a member of the defeated Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins. Ezio helped Jun fend off soldiers sent by the Chinese Emperor Jiajing and handed over a mysterious box, which he told her to open only if she got lost.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Like any other assassin, he is incredibly lethal, as he kills his victims in rather brutal ways. Although most of his victims deserve it, he still goes too far, and this makes him a clear anti-hero.
- He can also be arrogant and a jerk at times, though these traits are toned down as he grew older.
