Schneer, disutradarai oleh Fred F. Sears, serta menampilkan Hugh Marlowe dan Joan Taylor. Earth vs. the Flying Saucers dirilis sebagai fitur ganda dengan The Werewolf.[4]
Jalan cerita film tersebut diadaptasi dari buku non-fiksi tahun 1953 berpenjualan terbaik Flying Saucers from Outer Space karya Mayor Donald Keyhoe.[5]
Efek khusus animasi gerak henti film tersebut dibuat oleh Ray Harryhausen.
