Niki Rooney was a writer on Hollyoaks between September 2011 and May 2013, writing 19 episodes. She had previously worked her way up on the show to the role of Head of Story department.
After Hollyoaks, Niki moved on to write episodes for children's television series, including Ride, Lagging, The Dumping Ground and Swashbuckle. She has worked with the writers room for the shows You and Free.
