Synopsis

Donna-Marie struggles more after Juliet's funeral and isolates herself from her friends and family. DeMarcus reveals that he is leaving for the United States sooner than planned. Lacey urges Rayne to come clean, whilst Shing Lin tries to save the cancelled prom.

Plot

Donna-Marie ignores a call from James. Rayne tries to avoid Lacey. Charlie sneaks Ella out of the flat. Donna-Marie is desperate to go to work. Lacey is suspicious as Rayne's story was the same she used on Brent. Nadira overhears part of Rayne's confession. Mercedes implores DeMarcus to reconsider his move to the United States. Darren tries to talk to Charlie with a puppet version of Nancy, but is interrupted by Shing Lin needing to talk to him. Peri confronts Leela over her and Joel. Rayne lies to Nadira. Lacey makes clear that she won't let things lie.

Peri is happy for Leela. She has a meeting with her former boss to discuss returning to the hospital. Shing Lin reveals that prom has been cancelled and is desperate to save it. Donna-Marie explodes over Rayne's memorial planter for Juliet and destroys it. Felix offers to fix it and DeMarcus offers to help him. The governors let Sally help plan the prom. Romeo tells Donna-Marie that Rayne found a lump.

Felix answers a call from 'Howatt Academy' on DeMarcus's phone: DeMarcus has been offered a place at summer camp and will be leaving next week instead of 30th August. Rayne backs out of telling Romeo the truth when he tells her how supportive she's been. Donna-Marie watches Juliet's video but can't bare to watch all of it. She opens the contact for "Taxi man". Leela worries when Donna-Marie cancels on having dinner with her. On the floor of the empty gym, Donna-Marie injects herself with heroin.
