Synopsis[]
Bart worries as he is forced to tell Sinead the truth. Callum is distracted by Martha's problems during his exam. Darren prepares the pub quiz questions and is left annoyed by Nancy's attitude towards his intelligence.
Plot[]
Bart tries ringing Sinead as he runs into some woods, but Sinead's asleep. Myra's interviewed at the police station. Ricky meets Bart in the woods. Bart wants Ricky to lie to the police but Ricky isn't willing to lie. Mercedes, Myra, Carmel and Theresa are released following questioning. Bart heads to the hospital to see Joel but comes across Brendan instead. Bart tells Brendan what's been going on; Brendan refuses to let Bart involve Joel and then threatens him. Sinead's nervous for her general studies exam. She texts Bart but he doesn't reply.
Bart updates Ricky on how he's not to link the cannabis to Joel and hopes Ricky will say it's for his father, but Ricky remains firmly against the idea. Carmel, Myra and Mercedes head to the college to find Bart. Callum finds and pockets the letters that Martha hid in the cutlery drawer. Bart skips the general studies exam while Sinead sits it. After the exam, Sinead asks Carmel, Myra and Mercedes about Bart, telling them she last saw him yesterday evening. When Carmel asks her about the drugs, Myra realises that Sinead and Ricky both knew about the cannabis stashed in the loft.
Callum confronts Martha over the letters, which are outstanding bills. Ricky locks himself in the Florist and rings Bart when he spots Carmel, Myra and Mercedes heading to the shop. Bart texts Ricky where he is and when Sinead spots him he tells her that Bart's hiding at the shack. Martha tells Callum she's going to pay the bills off next payday. Jen visits Myra and shows her Bart's promising work. She stresses that he has big potential for the future. Sinead meets Bart and tries getting out of him who he's been growing the cannabis for, but he refuses to tell her, leading Sinead to bring into question their future together.
