Synopsis for 1st story
Dane telepathically senses Claymore’s pain, triggering a flashback to his encounter with Void in the Amazon during the fight with the WildC.A.T.s. Their minds briefly merged, and Dane experienced a disorienting moment of cosmic awareness. Next, he flashes back to another short encounter with Void while battling alongside Grifter. Dane refocuses his mind on the present just in time to slay an attacking vampire. Meanwhile, a pack of werewolves corners Drakken’s fleeing entourage. During the ensuing melee, Drakken cowers until the wolves are dead and only one other vampire is left standing. This lone survivor asks Drakken why he did not fight, and Drakken kills him so there are no witnesses to his cowardice. Dane tells Mother-One to call in Dozer. Dozer joins the battle and opens fire.

Synopsis for "The Lone One (part 3)"
A gray-skinned man sneaks up on Justine as she tries to figure out how to reanimate the Monster’s mate. Startled, she slashes him with a scalpel, but he just politely introduces himself as Conrad and assures her he will be fine. She wants to run, but Conrad explains that would be pointless as the Monster will just follow her until he gets what he wants. Her best option really is to revive the Monster’s mate. Outside, the werewolf the Monster met in the Alps leads a pack into the castle and attacks the Monster. They all fall off the castle roof and into a neighboring house in the middle of a birthday party.
