- Reference is made to Supergirl's attack against Air Force One. This took place during the "Amazons Attack!" event. Ironically, Supergirl also saved Air Force One from a fatal crash only a few months earlier in Superman/Batman #19.
- Reference is also made to Supergirl's battle against Reactron. This took place in Supergirl (Volume 5) #25-26.
- Lana Lang was fired by LexCorp for breach of contract in Superman #679.
