Synopsis for "The Million Dollar Medal!"
Arnie has always lived under the shadow of his older brother Tom, who was liked by everyone, and Arnie was ridiculed. However, Arnie would find a new found confidence as an adult when the war broke out and he became a gunner, fighting the Japanese out on the pacific.
While out at sea, the plane carrying Arnie is attacked and destroyed by a Pterodactyl, forcing Arnie to parachute out to sea. Finding a raft with a radio and calls for help. When the pulls up to shore on a deserted island he is attacked by a giant crab and is forced to flee. Hiding in a cave, he comes across a large diamond and realizes that it will be worth a fortune back home.
Meanwhile, back at base, Arnie's distress call is picked up and the military sends out a team of fighter pilots, led by Tom to rescue Arnie. Out at sea they are attacked by the Pterodactyl once again, and it just as easily takes out all the fighter planes. Tom manages to bail out before his plane is destroyed and manages to find his brother in the cave.
Tom is only interested in bringing his brother home with information regarding the enemy that he's collected, however Arnie believes that Tom has come to take his diamond and his glory. The two are attacked by a Tyrannosaurus Rex, ending the argument long enough so the two men can focus on killing their prehistoric attacker.
When they flee a battle between a Tyrannosaurus and a Stegosaurus Arnie accidentally steps into quicksand and immediately believes that his brother intends to double cross him. However, much to Arnie's surprise, Tom pulls him out. Arnie is then crushed by a snake before Tom can kill the attacker. Not willing to abandon his brother, Tom picks up Arnie and begins carrying him back to the beach so they can both raft out to safety.
When the Tyrannosaurus they were trying to flee begins chasing them, Arnie convinces his brother to leave him there to hold off the prehistoric beast. Giving Tom the information, Arnie gladly sacrifices his life for his brother while Tom makes his escape. With the information that Arnie passes on to Tom, the US Military are able to land a crushing blow to the Japanese army.
