Synopsis for "Intruder"
Seeking her mother, Glory arrives in Amazonia only to be ambushed by three of her mother’s guards. She swiftly defeats them but congratulates them for successfully sneaking up on her. They tell her Lady Demeter is away, securing the other Amazonians in a cavern between worlds. Glory tells them to let Demeter know Amazonia is safe for now from recent threats. She then teleports back to Washington, D.C., emerging from a pool near the Washington Monument. Unbeknownst to Glory, the incubus Max Sutherland has followed her back from interdimensional space. Nearby, Max’s fiancée mourns his apparent death and questions their relationship over his use of prostitutes. Once she falls asleep, Max possesses her body, visits a nightclub, and takes over the bouncer by kissing him. Glory arrives as his fiancée falls unconscious, and he takes her ring. Recognizing Glory, he offers the ring to her and tries to bewitch her, but she knocks him aside. Max transfers his mind into a young girl and feigns fear of Glory. When Glory tries to reassure him, he stabs her in the leg and runs away. Glory berates herself for falling prey to his deception and resolves to track him down.
