Synopsis for "Freaked"
Chased by a cop, teenager Lewis Phillips runs down a sidewalk with food for himself and his friends. Lewis turns into an alley, and the cop fires his gun only for the bullets to bounce off a giant seemingly made of stone. Calling the giant Ray, Lewis convinces him to let the cop go, and they flee. When more police arrive, Lewis and Ray’s hotheaded friend Valerie moves to attack them with her explosive powers, but Lewis morphs into a putty-like form and blocks her blast. Lewis has Ray carry Valerie away and escapes into the sewers. Lewis recalls how his powers first manifested as he played in a school football game. At the group’s hideout, Valerie berates Ray for following Lewis’s orders. Ray remembers how his parents kept him in their basement until, one day, his mother told him people were coming to take him away. Angry, he broke out of the house, and Lewis soon found him on the street. Insisting they are all freaks, Valerie kicks a door down and attacks a scared girl hiding behind it. The girl uses a tendril from her chest to slam Valerie’s head into the ground then flees. Ray stops Valerie from giving chase, and she remembers being in jail and using her powers to fend off a guard who tried to rape her. Lewis later found her on the street. On a nearby fire escape, Lewis finds the scared girl with the tendrils and consoles her. Police passing by spot them, and he uses his powers to hide them. Then, Lewis takes the girl inside and explains they are a gang formed to help each other survive. Ray spray paints “Freex” on the wall and declares they need “gang names”, dubbing himself Boom Boy and Lewis as Anything. Suddenly, a mass of computer parts crashes through the window and forms into a robot. A young man appears on the computer screen, introduces himself as Michael, and prepares to tell the Freex why he gathered them.
