Synopsis for "Batman: "The Case of the Three Devils""
[1] plot summaries all from dcindexes.com
Batman and Robin tangle with three thieves dressed in devil outfits. The thieves are incredible acrobats and elude capture. Batman suspects they will try to take the stolen loot to one of two fences, to sell it. He stakes out one place, and springs into action when the crooks arrive. Batman gets knocked out, by hitting his head on a table while ducking a bullet, so the devils escape again, but Robin trails them to their hide-out, an abandoned subway tunnel, loses a fight, and is left in the path of an onrushing subway train, but flattens himself between the rails allowing it to pass over him. The Dynamic Duo is then able to prevent the crooks from succeeding in their next job, pursue them to the observation floor of a clock tower, have one more high-altitude, stunt-heavy fight, and leave the knocked-out bad guys for the police.
