Notes
- DC Comics Presents (Volume 2) was an 8-issue miniseries paying tribute to the recently departed DC editor Julius Schwartz. A hallmark of Julius Schwartz' incredible editorial vision was his ability to conceive imaginative covers to serve as springboards for writers in need of story ideas. The one-shots in this series feature creators following the same guidelines with homages to old comics covers.
- An obituary written by famed science fiction writer Harlan Ellison is provided. Schwartz passed away on February 8th, 2004.
Trivia
- The cover to this issue is based off the original cover to Mystery in Space #82, illustrated by Carmine Infantino. The original Infantino cover is reprinted on the first page to this issue.
