Synopsis for "Lifetime Achievement: Part Three"

As Spidey thinks over the relationships he's had to rebuild in his life, Big Man throttles Spider-Man around the room to show the battered hero to Jonah, reminding him of his promise at his father's funeral. Jonah realizes that Big Man is really Freddie Foswell Jr., embittered by people who shunned him for his father's criminality, his sister dying after taking up the Big Man moniker, and his obsessive following of Jonah's "story" that Spider-Man was the true criminal. With Spider-Man pinned under the hand of the Big Man mech, Freddie had a gun ready to shoot him and have Jonah join him to avenge his father. Seeing the lengths Freddie went to for revenge, Jonah blamed himself for his words and explained his father being a criminal, but that he had gaslit Fred years ago by fear of losing his job again, thus Jonah took the blame.

With Freddie doubting him, Jonah confessed to lying about his father only in his obsessed campaign against Spider-Man, sadly infuriating Freddie more to the point of wanting to shoot both. Although a Spider-Slayer and Spider-Man subdued Freddie, he still got a shot off in Jonah's shoulder and orders the Big Man self-destruct, which Spider-Man strains to launch safely away. After EMTs and NYPD arrive, Jonah worries for Freddie getting therapy instead of prison, and with Spider-Man's damaged reputation, he realizes he has ruined lives. But Peter reminds him that he still gave a second chance to Fred Foswell when nobody would, and still helped Peter with a job after Uncle Ben died. Peter reminds him to not focus on himself before, but look to himself in the now. Later, Jonah attends the award ceremony, but instead tells Fisk off and opens up about his own failings as a news editor and mayor, apologetic to hounding a young Spider-Man. Calling out Fisk for the criminal that he was, Jonah takes his leave after embarrassing the crooked mayor.

The next morning, Jonah finds that the network changed his radio show's time slot due to a loss in numbers, as people wanted to hear him bash on Spider-Man-- what he's known for. Flustered, Jonah is then surprised by the Norah Winters, with something to discuss with him. Meanwhile, as Scorpion calls Arcade demanding his pay, he is ambushed by Taskmaster and Black Ant, and is tranquilized. Waking up sometime later, a belligerent Scorpion finds himself sharing a cage with other animal themed criminals.
