Sunny is a supporting character in Monica's Gang. He is a boy from Lemon Tree District, and part of the gang, but is by far the most outshined of them all, to the point his main objective in life was to become a main character instead of a secondary one. Despite that, he is one of the most beloved characters in the series, due to his silly and naive personality, and heartwarming stories with his father.
In the cartoons, he is voiced by Marcelo Souza.

His Heroic Deeds[]
- As he has divorced parents, he only sees his father on the Saturdays, which makes him a little bit strange from him. However, even if sometimes reluctantly, he always goes with his father to whatever weird activity he is planning on doing, and though they usually fail miserably to have fun the way they originally intended, they enjoy the time they spend with each other and become closer each time they met.
- As he has the most family issues out of all in the gang, he is also usually the one who gives people advice to deal with said issues.
- He was very excited when his father said he found a potential wife.
- He exposed Corner-Carmem as the antipathic abuser she is, preventing his father from marryinh her. While she was in fact in love with him, she'd still be a tyrant to Sunny and the other children in the neighbourhood.
- He gave up being the leader of the neighbourhood when he saw he couldn't handle the responsibility, despite it being a potential way of him becoming a main character.
- Helped defeat the Silencer.
- Was one of the people who helped fight Cumulus (though his help wasn't really much) and tried to calm down Maggy once she almost killed them all with her uncontrollable witch powers.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He is extremely arrogant and jerkish most of the time. His main goal through the series is to become a main character, and while he is bullied because of his forgettable presence, most of this goal is out of self-centrism.
- He fails the standards of Monica's Gang miserably to other heroes with same or less resources than him, such as Denise and Doreen, specially after Monica Teen, and aside from defeating Corner Carmem, his deeds are standard or shared with other heroes.
Trivia[]
- He isn't a Heroic Benchmark in the movie or graphic novel adaptations, as he is just a minor character that does literally nothing admirable or heroic.
