Setna is a minor protagonist in the video game Age of Mythology and its remaster, Age of Mythology: Retold. He appears during the Egyptian Arc in the campaign Fall of the Trident, serving to help Arkantos and Amanra in reviving the god Osiris.
He is voiced by Lloyd Sherr in the original game, and Kerem Erdinc in the remaster. Erdinc also voices the god Freyr in the same game.
Biography[]
Setna is first mentioned by Amanra when she brings the first Osiris piece into his kingdom. Unbeknownst to her, he had been captured and imprisoned by Kemsyt, and Arkantos's men shortly met a similar fate. In prison, Arkantos befriends Setna, who explains the backstory of Osiris's demise along with the fate of his worshippers.
As Amanra rescues the heroes, Setna joins them and guides them to some allies in Abydos who will assist. With their new army, they once again take back the Osiris piece that was recaptured by Kemsyt and rest in a valley. The next morning, Setna reiterates that uniting the Osiris pieces will revive him, and the heroes split up to capture the remaining three, while Setna takes the captured piece to Osiris's pyramid.
When the heroes return, he receives word from his soldier that scouts have sighted Amanra and Chiron with their pieces. With no sight of Arkantos, he prematurely orders his archers to signal to Amanra and Chiron to bring their pieces to the pyrmaid with flaming arrows. Eventually, Arkantos arrives and Osiris is successfully revived, preventing Gargarensis from entering the Underworld. He is not seen afterwards.
