Queen Hama Halbert née Hammerin is a supporting protagonist of the LEGO Nexo Knights TV series, queen of Knighton, wife of King Halbert and mother of Macy Halbert. Before becoming queen, she was a knight herself and inspired her daughter to become one as well.
She was voiced by Nicole Oliver.
Biography[]
Past[]
Hama was born into the Hammerin family, considered commoners. She studied at the Knights' Academy to become a warrior, where she met the future king of Knighton, Eggred Halbert. Eventually, they got married and had a daughter named Macy. As the queen never fully let go of her past, she continued her knight training, and her daughter was inspired by it to become a knight herself and eventually entered the Knights' Academy despite the king's objections.
Nexo Knights[]
When Jestro and Monstrox launched their first attack on Knightonia and a few Lava Monsters entered the royal castle, the queen briefly fought them off until the Nexo Knights defeated them all. Later, when the knights ended up disorganized and scattered across the kingdom, she donned her armor and wielded her battle hammer, assisting her husband and Robin in defending the capital during the monsters' assault.
Personality[]
Despite her royal status not requiring any battle prowess from her, Hama is fond of her past as a knight. As such, he relates to her daughter's desire to be one as well, and even persuaded Eggred to let her study as well. While she usually tries to find a compromise between her husband and daughter, she seems to believe that Macy should give in to her father's wish of seeing her as a princess at least once in a while. In spite of the troublesome family matters, she loves her relatives deeply and will always come to their rescue when needed.
