Han is a supporting character in DreamWorks' 47th full-length animated film Kung Fu Panda 4, the fourth installment of the Kung Fu Panda franchise.

He is an anthropomorphic Sunda pangolin who serves as the leader of the Den of Thieves, who used to be Zhen's mentor in her beginning years of stealing and tricking.

He is voiced by Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan, who played Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Data Wang in The Goonies, Waymond Wang in Everything Everywhere All At Once, and Ouroboros in Loki.

Appearance[]

He is a Sunda pangolin who wears a straw hat and wears Chinese peasant clothing, he also wears a bead collar around his neck.

Personality[]

Han is a friendly if leader of rough thief, he worried for Zhen's safety when she was kid, but after she abandoned his side, he had no compulsion with threatening her and Po, showcasing him to still be mad at Zhen years later after she had abandoned and betrayed him and rest of Den of Thieves to the Chameleon.

Thanks to Zhen's encouragement, Han had a slight change of heart to help Zhen against the Chameleon's Army and help Po defeat her, albeit still not caring about anything but being free of the tyrant's grip on Juniper City, he forgives Zhen for abandoned and betrayed after Zhen stand up against Chameleon that he is pound at Zhen

Biography[]

Han found Zhen when she was kid and taught her how to steal food and money to survive. One day, The Chameleon took over Juniper City, and everyone bowed down to her except for Zhen, he urges her to bow down, but sees Zhen sneaking out to steal one of gems from the golden throne tree, only for her to get caught by The Chameleon, who was impressed with her skills and adopted her when Zhen opted to go with her, this broke Han's heart as he'd grown to care for Zhen and embittered him against his former adopted daughter.

When Zhen came to visit Han, he reunited with Zhen but got his minions to threaten Po and Zhen, Po tried to reason with them but this just caused Han and the others to try and leave, Po tries to introduce himself as the Dragon Warrior and successor to Master Oogway, though Han hadn't heard of either but did hear of Shifu, Zhen then tried asking for his help, believing him to have a good-heart deep and thinking she still was family to him and rest of Den of Thieves. He ended up not cooperating much and threatened Zhen that if she still was around by nightfall, he’ll turn her in to the bull guards himself before going to sleep.

The next day Han came back he check and clear on street he orders his minions to go ahead at street and he orders Zhen and Po to get out of his sight.

Later he and the Den of Thieves are recruited by Zhen to aid Li Shan and Mr. Ping to fight against Chameleon's army ultimately choosing to help so they can be rid of the Chameleon and be free to do as they please, the thieves raided the Chameleon's castle, defeated her forces and watched Po and Zhen defeat the Chameleon.
