When the chefs arrived in Los Angeles, they were greeted by James on the bus ride, and then, it pulled over to the Orpheum Theatre, where they would be given a standing ovation by a live audience. However, when the curtain was pulled up, they discovered that the room was completely empty, much to their disappointment before Ramsay revealed himself applauding very slowly. When he revealed the grand prize of the season, Elizabeth found it amazing as she was from New York City, could not have asked for a better scenario, and the chefs were asked to get back to Hell's Kitchen and cook their signature dishes.
During the Signature Dish Challenge, Elizabeth was the eighth person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Tommy. Her dish was unknown, but it was praised for having the impact and all the ingredients working together, and she tied the round with Tommy. The red team lost the challenge 5-6, and they were punished by cleaning both kitchens for the opening night.

The next morning, the chefs were woken up by a young guitarist and very loud amplifiers, and Elizabeth immediately wondered where were her pants. The chefs were ordered to get outside, and arrived there, Ramsay introduced the Meat & Grill Challenge, where each pair would have to cook a medium-rare New York strip, a medium rib-eye, a medium-well filet mignon, and a well-done burger. During the challenge, she was paired with Gina and Jennifer, they were the last pair to compete for the red team, and they only scored two points out of four, with their New York strip and burger, much to her dismay. During Will's turn, she could not believe that he did not have any problem with his meat, and was disappointed when he gave a perfect performance.
The red team lost the challenge 10-11, and they were punished by cleaning the grills, taking a delivery of a whole cow, and drinking a protein shake made from the meat used during the challenge. During the punishment, Elizabeth was dismayed as the cow was very heavy, and later, when they were prepping while reviewing the menu, she revealed that she did not know what was in the egg batter put over the Wellingtons, which made Elise whistling contemptuously. When the blue team came back from their reward, the women studied the menu further, and she knew that Carrie did not have her priorities at the right place, as the latter was seen flirting with Brendan.
During dinner service, Elizabeth was on the fish station. She was not seen much, but she helped her teammates to send the appetizers at a good pace. The red team won the service, and at elimination, they were asked for a volunteer to be transferred to the blue team the next morning.[2]

After taking a delivery of naan bread with the other chefs, Elizabeth and her teammates said goodbye to Natalie, who was transferred to the blue team instead of Carrie. During the Mommy & Me Lunch Service Challenge, she was not seen much, except at one point when she helped Jamie with the quesadillas, but discovered that she burned them. She asked Jamie if she wanted to start over, which the latter answered she would serve them, and could not believe that Jamie would serve burned quesadillas.
The red team lost the challenge, and they were punished by cleaning the dining room, prepping both kitchens for the Family Night dinner service, and setting up a playground for the children. Arrived there, Ramsay introduced the Chicken Creation Challenge, and during the first part, Elizabeth acknowledged that the red team needed to win as they have lost all of the challenges at that moment. During the second part, she was paired with Elise, they worked on the roasted chicken course, and she was already being bossed by Elise when she put more salt in the blender. They were the last pair from the red team to have their dish judged, she did not present their roasted chicken with butternut squash purée, Swiss chard, onions, and garlic, and she was annoyed when Elise told that it was her idea. She knew that Elise was just trying to get all the spotlight on herself as both of them worked on that idea, but despite that, they won the round over Chino and Natalie.
The red team won the challenge 3-2, they were rewarded with a go-kart activity at K1 Speed, and Elizabeth, along with Elise, were photographed with Ramsay for People magazine as their dish was deemed the best. She was excited about that as it was everything she wanted in her life, and after the picture was taken, the red team went back in the dorms to change. During the reward, she bumped into some walls a couple of times before revealing that she did not even have a license as she was from New York City, and did not qualify for the final race.
During dinner service, Elizabeth was on the appetizer station with Carrie. She was not seen much, but she had communication issues with Elise as she was not ready with her risotto when the latter was with her scallops, and when she was ready, Elise told that she had to start her scallops over. After a lot of mistakes, the red team was kicked out of the kitchen, both teams were named joint-losers, and they were asked to nominate two people each.

There, she decided that as she never cooked with Hawaiian food before, she felt she could even it out with Asian flavors as she thought they were the same and asked the committee if a surf and turf dish was acceptable. However, that stunned the committee. During the cooking, she gave the red team incorrect information by telling them to focus on Asian cuisines instead of the requested Hawaiian theme, and even suggested to make bacon-wrapped scallops, much to Jamie's concern. After the cooking, Ramsay announced the Hawaiian theme, which she did not mention to them, and after Elise served a scallop dish that contained bacon, Ramsay called her out for not mentioning that to the red team that one of the committee members was a pescatarian but thought they could mix fish and meat together.
Elizabeth did not present a dish, but due to her poor leadership, the red team lost the challenge 0-3. They were punished by decorating the dining room for reunion dinner service the following night, clean up both kitchens, and decorate the cake. During the punishment, Elise angrily confronted her for giving them the wrong information, but while she claimed that she heard the committee say Asian food, Elise also brought up the bacon incident, and how they did not know one of the women was a pescatarian. However, she refused to take the full blame as none of her teammates scored points against the blue team, and reminded Elise on how the scallops were undercooked, with the latter calling her a bitch in response. Later, she made 19 Hawaiian leis when the blue team returned from their reward.
During prep, Elizabeth and Jennifer were seen putting the final touches on the cake but was struggling with it. During the 20 Year Reunion dinner service, she was on the fish station. After Carrie's elimination, Ramsay asked everybody to take off their jackets, and to their shock, announced that Hell’s Kitchen was closed as he was not convinced they each had the drive to become the head chef of BLT steak. In order to spark inspiration, he was flying them all to New York to see the prized restaurant first hand. Upon seeing BLT Steak, Elizabeth was ready to go all the way.
During the King of the Hill Challenge, Elizabeth got New York striploin and corn, and her country was Mexico. She was the second person to have her dish judged and went up against New York striploin with chorizo and cotija cheese. While having an overcooked steak, it tasted better than it looked, and she managed to dethrone Tommy. She survived over Natalie but was dethroned by Paul. The red team eventually won the challenge, and they were rewarded with a day at Venice beach and got to ride in a giant zorb bubble.
During dinner service, Elizabeth was on the fish station. While she felt more determined than ever, along with pushing out scallops initially, she soon got confused on orders and slowed down, leading Ramsay to order Elise to help the former out. With Elise’s help, her scallops were accepted. On entrées, she sent up dry sea bass with a burnt bottom, got dismayed as she wanted to be confident that night, and Ramsay called her frazzled as she struggled to call out times. After, Ramsay sent her to the pantry room, and managed to calm her down despite her problems. Later, she and Elise argued about timings on their respective dishes, sent up a raw sea bass, and when she complained about how it felt she cooked it for 10 minutes, Ramsay told her to stop being a wimp. After, Ramsay called her out for giving up, and she was kicked out of the kitchen along with Elise.
Both teams were named joint-losers, and they were asked to nominate one each. During deliberation, despite knowing she had a poor night, Elizabeth argued her overall performance was better than Elise’s. However, Elise argued how she was frazzled the entire night.

Episode 12[]

The next day, Elizabeth promised to calm down as she deemed last night a fluke, but Jennifer did not believe it as she had a poor track record of freaking out.
During the Time Limit Challenge, Elizabeth cooked with a 20-minute time limit, but irritated Jennifer with her questions. She was the second person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Paul. She made a monkfish with couscous, and while it was praised for the cook of the fish, it was criticized for having a bland couscous. She lost that round to Paul, and the red team lost the challenge 1-2. They were punished by prepping ahead of the charity night dinner service and bring out two banquet tables while reorganizing the dining room.
During prep, Elizabeth was insulted by Elise when she wanted to focus on her chicken, and started to lose her patience with the latter. During the Charity Night dinner service, she was responsible for both the scallops course and the chicken course. On her first course, Ramsay reminded her to own her scallops’ course, but she was stressed out on the importance of that night. Then, when Ramsay asked the women why nobody was helping her on scallops, she asked Elise for help. Later, she did not respond to Jennifer’s questions about firing the cauliflower, leaving the former and Elise to take over. Despite getting her course out, Ramsay asked her what happened to her voice and leadership, and urged her to own her next course. While she agreed to that, she dropped her chicken ahead of time, confusing Jennifer. On the lobster capellini course, she was slow plating the pasta, and on her second course, Ramsay discovered her already cooked chicken despite her table still on the capellini course. Despite claiming that she wanted the chicken to rest, Ramsay told her that she was five minutes early, and the chicken was ready now. That forced James to take plates of half-eaten capellini away from the red diners, and Ramsay frustratingly reminded her to have Elise and Jennifer help her, while the latter accused her of being scatterbrained. Despite that, she got her course out.
The red team lost the service, and Ramsay announced that the entire team would be up for elimination. Back at the dorms, Elizabeth accused Elise of being in a delusional world who was the leader of the women and hoped to shine through over the latter’s defeat. Both her and Jennifer hoped for Elise to go as the latter had already been nominated five times before.
At elimination, the entire red team was called up, and during her plea, Elizabeth claimed to be a good chef and wanted to be there till the end. After Jennifer received a black jacket, she begged Ramsay not to give up on her, but she was eliminated for her lack of leadership skills. Before leaving, Ramsay praised her for coming into the competition for the right reasons and saw a bright future for her. During her exit interview, she felt that she was good as the black jacket chefs but admitted that it was not her time.
Ramsay's comment: "Tonight was all about charity in Hell's Kitchen, and after watching Elizabeth's performance, I'm now ready to donate her jacket to a worthy cause." [12]
