Kunihiro Mineishi

Kunihiro Mineishi is a major antagonist in the Junji Ito manga Hellstar Remina.

He is the son of President Mineishi, the CEO of the Mineishi Constructon Corporation which Remina Oguro has been hired to sponsor. Kunihiro had started out as being one of Remina's biggest fans, competing for her attention on multiple ocassions, especially with Naoya Goda. After taking Remina away from the Cult of Remina to his family's bomb shelter, Kunihiro attempts to rape her. When Remina attempts to fight back, Kunihiro frames her for advancing on him first, and kicks her out of the house back to the cult.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]

Just like Goda, Kunihiro has a sense of entitlement towards Remina, seeing her merely as a trophy to compete over. He is constantly seen arguing with Goda over who is more fit to protect her.
When the Cult of Remina corner Remina, Yatsumi and Goda, Kunihiro ditches the group in order to save himself.
When Kunihiro takes Remina back to his family's mansion following Goda storming off after Remina rejects him, the first thing he tries to do when taking her to the bomb shelter is attempt to rape her. When Remina smacks him across the face to defend herself, Kunihiro claims that he was doing this to be "nice" to her, and that she wasn't being grateful of it.
When his parents come down the bomb shelter, Kunihiro tries to dodge responsibility of his actions by shifting the blame on Remina, claiming that she advanced on him. This convinces his family to kick her out of the house back to the cult that sought to kill her in the first place.
