David (The Last of Us HBO)

David is a major antagonist in the HBO Post-Apocalyptic television series The Last of Us, which is adapted from the game. He is portrayed by Scott Shepherd, who also played Casey in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

What makes him Hated?[]

• He runs a cult that serves unwitting people human flesh after Dave and a few of his men hunt down and murder people.
• Kidnaps Ellie and locks her in a cage as an attempt to keep her as his pet.
• Unlike in the video game (which only brings speculation towards his pedophilia), the show confirms that he is a pedophile with how he stated that he was a teacher of a young girl before the apocalypse, which indicates that he also had his way with his students.
• He attempts to rape Ellie and tells her sadistically that fighting is the part that he likes the most.
