- The gift that Dark's Party received as a reward for winning the Combat Tournament is explained.
- Sora and Ego ate the cookies that were meant for the new guild members against the wishes of Rim.
- Two families of the Luo Kingdom were introduced, the 'Brick Family' and the 'Quintarin Family'.
- The new members were attacked by Mana Flies and had to defeat them one by one, which is why it took them so long to get to Dark Land. Heart Heater suspects that Giga was behind it, but this has not been confirmed. Totoras is seen when he is talking about the culprits possibly indicating Light's involvement, but once again, this has not been confirmed.
- An Easter Egg of Team Rocket can be seen when new guild members arrive. Two characters resembling Jesse and James can be seen.
- Lakiren is the 5th Giga Empire Castle introduced in the series after Totoras, Bromorten, Empra and Ranmi Castle. Curiously, in the shot we see of Lakiren, no castle is actually seen, just small houses.
