The Jefferson is a sports car in Grand Theft Auto 2.
Design[]
The Jefferson seems to be the oldest car in the series, being over 100 years old by the events of GTA 2. The Jefferson's internal name is JEFFREY, suggesting the car's name is based on a Rambler (the Rambler name was originally adopted for use by the Thomas B. Jeffery Company prior to the company's acquisition by Nash Motors in 1917). The sleek touring design of the Jefferson harks back to designs from the 1920s to the 1940s, resulting in a car that is more comparable to a Alfa Romeo 8C, for example, than a 1900s-1910s Rambler.
