Ian McQue was the lead artist, lead concept artist and assistant art director at Rockstar North (and formerly DMA Design) from 1995 to 2014.
Career[]
McQue joined DMA Design in 1995 as lead artist. Once DMA Design became Rockstar North, McQue became the lead concept artist and assistant art director on every Grand Theft Auto game other than Grand Theft Auto Advance, where he is not credited.
McQue is the lead artist throughout the 2D Universe, the lead character designer throughout the 3D Universe and the concept artist for the HD Universe, with the exception of Grand Theft Auto V for which he was credited as the assistant art director.
He played the Zaibatsu Corporation assassin in DMA Design's promotional video and opening sequence for Grand Theft Auto 2.
Following the release of Grand Theft Auto V, McQue left Rockstar North in September 2014
