John Dramani Mahama (dem born am 29 November 1958)^[1] be Ghanaian politician wey serve as Presido give Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. First nu, he serve as Vice President give Ghana^[2] from January 2009 to July 2012, wey he san take office of de president for 24 July 2012 after de death of ein predecessor, John Atta Mills.^[3]^[4] Mahama be communication expert, historian, den writer. He be member of de National Democratic Congress (NDC), wey he be Member of Parliament give Bole Bamboi from 1997 to 2009 wey he san so serve as Deputy Minister for Communication between 1997 den 1998 before he come turn de substantive Minister for Communications from 1998 to 2001.

Mahama be de first vice president wey he take over de presidency from de death of ein predecessor, John Atta Mills, wey he san be de first head of state of Ghana wey dem born am after Ghana ein independence.
