The Sinner é unha serie de televisión estadounidense que está baseada na novela homónima de Petra Hammesfahr. A serie foi confirmada o 17 de xaneiro de 2017 e os oito episodios foron emitidos a través da canle USA Network entre o 2 de agosto e o 20 de setembro de 2017. En marzo de 2018, a serie foi renovada para unha segunda tempada de oito episodios que se estrearán o 1 de agosto de 2018.
The Sinner recibiu dous nomeamentos ós Globos de Ouro, nas categorías de mellor miniserie ou telefilme e mellor actriz de miniserie ou telefilme para Jessica Biel. Biel tamén recibiu un nomeamento ós Premios Primetime Emmy.
