Etymology[]
An Estoc is essentially a long straight two-handed sword with no cutting-edge but a pointed tip, designed by the French to fight against mail and plate armour from the 14th to 17th Centuries. The English variation is called the Tuck.
Trivia[]
- Being a weaker version of the Parallel Falchion, it bears the same weapon model of both it and Chrom's Falchion.
- Although weaker than the Parallel Falchion, Lucina's Estoc is still slightly stronger than Chrom's Falchion, unless the latter is used against a Wyvern-based unit. However, there are no Wyvern enemies in the Before Awakening DLC, thus making its ability useless.
