Village in Turmoil, Check on Mom, and Sephiroth's Atrocities are quests in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, taking place in a flashback of the Nibel Reactor and Nibelheim during Chapter 1, "Fall of a Hero". Cloud Strife in the present day narrates a tale in which Sephiroth, having learned of his origins in Shinra Manor, breaks down and attacks Nibelheim.
Walkthrough[]
These quests are primarily story-based, with limited gameplay in between.
Leave the manor to find Zangan pointing back to Nibelheim. Heading there will lead to a short cutscene, following which Cloud will walk slowly. Head down to Nibelheim and to the left to Mayor Zander, at which point the path will be blocked. Once it is, head right through the house that opens and crawl through to reach the village square.
In front of the Strife residence, a cutscene will commence. After this, follow the on-screen prompts to crawl toward Sephiroth, leading to another series of scenes, followed by the next quest, "Tifa Comes Calling".
