Paradise's entrance.
Paradise (らくえん, Rakuen?) is a location in The Final Fantasy Legend, and is the final destination in the game. Using the Door item or the Telepor ability is the only way to leave this place once the player has entered it.
Story[]
The party arrives in Paradise, a barren area save for a recovery crystal at its entrance. They find a man wearing the top hat across the bridge, who congratulates the party for reaching the area. He tells them that he's been waiting for them and they are the first ones to finish the game, a game that he created. This man then reveals himself as the Creator. The main character asks about what he means by a "game", and the Creator tells them that the people didn't know what courage and determination meant, so he created Ashura to see what the people would do.
Ashura was a test; the Creator wanted to see the party defeat this evil.[note 1] One of the party members tells him that they were all pieces of his designs, telling them they understood well. Many have failed the test, but to him it was refreshing to see courage in the face of danger and wants to reward them for their accomplishments. He offers to grant them any wish.
The party tells him that they didn't do it for the reward, and they point out that he used them. The Creator asks the party about what's wrong with using people, further boasting that he created everything. They tell the Creator that they are not just for his amusement, which the Creator sees as if they would be trying to pick a fight with him. He engages them into battle.
The party emerges out victorious from the battle, with the Creator dead. The party members wonder what they should do. One of the party members asks if there's another door that leads to another world beyond. They go to the door, and one of them is unsure if they should go through. Most of them comment that it doesn't matter to them if they decide to go or not. The party rejoices that they defeated all the evil in the world. The main character decides to return back to their world.

Etymology[]
Paradise is a religious or metaphysical term for a place in which existence is positive, harmonious and eternal. Paradise is often described as a "higher place", the holiest place, in contrast to this world, or underworlds such as Hell.

In the Japanese version, he did it due to being bored with the peaceful nature of the world, and for the sole purpose of giving himself entertainment, he created Ashura and tormented humanity, and eventually tried to instigate heroes to remove Ashura simply because the latter started to bore him.
