HammerBro101 Incorporated, also known as HammerBro101 Inc., is a American multinational video game developer, publisher, and localizer headquartered in New York City. Its international branches, HammerBro101 Interactive Japan (established January 17, 2003), HammerBro101 Studios Peru (established June 27, 2003), HammerBro101 Inc. Australia Ltd (established September 12, 2003), and HammerBro101 Inc. Europe (established April 15, 2004), are respectively headquartered in Tokyo (Japanese branch), Arequipa (Peruvian branch), Sydney (Australian branch), and London (European branch). It is best known for newer Mario Kart games, like Mario Kart Revamped. It also became a first party developer, as it released its first console, the HammerBro101 Jupiter, in October 16 2021. Its predecessor is the now defunct Darkmoon Interactive.

History[]

On May 31, 2002, the Friday before HammerBro101 created the company, HammerBro101 Interactive's predecessor, Darkmoon Interactive, filed for bankruptcy due to a load screen glitch in Hammer Bro: Mystery of the Chaos Emeralds, hoping for Koopa Kart Advance to allow them to go out with a bang. On July 26, 2002, the company shut down, and their last game sold well.
